Every time you make a goal, how often do you reach your goals?
For those who have reached a goal even one goal, Congratulations! On setting up a goal or task to achieve and you have proven to yourself you can achieve what you set your mind to.
I want to talk about perseverance and how keeping perseverance in your life helps you take one step at a time toward your goals.
Start each day as if a new life has been given to you each day. This reminds me of the movie Ground Hog Day. I grew up watching this movie and laughed so hard at how the character Phil day’s kept repeating itself until he had his realization of his life.
In the movie Ground Hog Day, when Phil’s days would repeat it reminded me of how we live our life on repeat. What do we learn each day? What goal or task do we set ourselves to achieve in life?
What I really like about Ground Hog Day the movie is that when Phil got sick & tired of the same show of life repeating he did something new with the time he had. He started to learn different hobbies, he started having more fun and he started working on himself realizing what he was missing in his life.
Certain goals you need to realize that some may take time, even years, to achieve depending on circumstances and your network of support. Don’t beat yourself up if certain goals may need more time & education for you to learn more about, so you can build your talents/abilities to achieve them.
When you set a goal or task in your life how do you feel about it at the beginning? Sometimes getting sick & tired of your own excuses helps you to take a step back and see what you are missing? Or what areas of yourself you may need to learn more about.
Here are some easy steps to take little by little each day:
1. Your intention of your day (make it with purpose).
2. Breath and tell yourself , “It is okay, little by little I CAN!”
3. Meditate on your actions of your day. Set yourself up for success.
4. Break free from the repeating days. Take steps toward learning what your goal/task needs of you for you to achieve such goals.
5. Have FUN! Sometimes take a break just be silly & enjoy your day.
If your life is not over, your story has not ended. Continue walking your path each day with perseverance. Little by little you will achieve your goal. You made a decision of a goal or task to achieve. Remember each day is a step, each week/month is a new level and each year is a new goal to achieve.
